It began with a search for emeralds
Our story starts fifty-five years ago, when my grandfather — the founder of the company — travelled to Brazil in search of emeralds and began cutting and polishing stones. Since then we have expanded into every facet of the gem and jewellery trade.
I studied jewellery manufacturing and design at Le Arti Orafe in Florence, learning craftsmanship and quality control in the heart of the city's jewellery district, and then took my Graduate Gemologist degree at the Gemological Institute of America in Carlsbad, California.
Jewels Park is about creating jewellery with meaning. Every piece has a concept, an inspiration and a purpose, and coloured gemstones are integral to all of it — their rarity, their diversity, their sheer luxury are what make me want to play with colour. From finding the right rough, to cutting it well, to arriving at a design that is genuinely its own, the aim is excellence. The secret lies in the details.

Yes — every gemstone we use is 100% natural. Each stone is selected and inspected before it is mounted. If any reputable laboratory finds otherwise, we will issue a full refund.
We disclose enhancements, without exception. The treatments we accept are the ones the trade regards as standard:
Ruby — heat. A common colour and clarity treatment; roughly 95% of rubies on the market are heated.
Sapphire — heat. As with ruby, used to improve colour and clarity.
Emerald — oiling. Emeralds carry natural fractures; oil fills them to improve clarity and make the stone more stable.
We use stones treated in these ways and in no other way.

Solid, always. Choose 14K or 18K and the piece is made in solid gold of that purity — never plated. Every piece is hallmarked with its gold purity, so the quality is verifiable and the piece can be appraised.
Every piece arrives in a jewellery box as standard. Gift wrapping is free — just mention it in the personalisation note and we will wrap it for you.
For most pieces, warm water, mild soap and a soft toothbrush. Some stones need more care:
Emerald — never put an emerald in an ultrasonic cleaner. Mild soap and water only.
Pearl — keep away from perfume, cosmetics and body lotion; the chemicals attack the nacre.
Opal — avoid sudden changes in temperature. Opals are soft and can craze.
Turquoise — keep away from acids and household chemicals. Take the piece off before cleaning.
Every order ships by FedEx International Priority and takes a maximum of two weeks to arrive. Delivery is door to door — nothing to collect, it comes straight to your address.
